Skype doesn't start automatically any more.
Hallo!
I don't know when it happened precisely, but I've just realized that skype does not start automatically any more.
I use winpatrol free and skype is scheduled to start up after 5 minutes.
What happens is that I have to right click the skype icon (therefore skype does something actually at the beginning) in the system tray and then left click on "sign in".
But before it was different! There was no need of this final operation... and I often forget to do this!

Any idea?
I have windows XP sp3 buil 2600 and skype vers.5.5.0.114.
Thank you in advance!

Skype -> Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Start Skype when I start Windows
Is it ticked?

or else try start-----> msconfig ---> Startup ----> select or tick the skype options there..if it is unchecked..

Yep, "A Guy" and "princeaniket". Maybe I was not so clear, but at the end of the boot operations, I can see the skype icon in the systemtray. But I have to do that additional operation that before was not! I have to <right click the skype icon in the system tray and then left click on "sign in">...
This is annoying and I would like to avoid.
Thanx again!

I knew it was a common issue. Did not know that vers.5.5.0.115 could solve the bug.
Just updated skype and everything is back to normal.
Thanx anyway, my friends...
