So I just downloaded Windows 7 from MSDN Academic Alliance...

I got an email recently stating that my university is registered and that I have software available to me. I thought, "Great!" because I needed to reinstall Windows 7 for my laptop.

The download and installation went great. But now my laptop wants me to sign in with a user name and password... I don't have one on this laptop. What is going on?

I've tried unplugging the battery and restarting it but it still asks me to login. Did I mess up somewhere? If anyone has had experience with downloading an operating system, please help. I would really appreciate it.

Try logging in as Administrator without a password.
If it doesn't work, let's wait for other member's input before I guide you privately on how to reset it.

That's one of the first things I tried without success. I tried using the name of the computer, the old username and password set I used before I reinstalled it to factory settings, and I also tried \Administrator after the name. No dice.
