    Hi,

I currently changed my hotmail password and trying to login 3 days later. but, it is stated that the password is incorrect. I tried to reset my password but hotmail and Windows live only gave me 1 option, which is 'instruction will be sent to my hotmail email address'. I even cant login to my hotmail and now the instruction is sent to my hotmail account. huh.. I know its also my false that I didnt put any alternative email address since I've created this account 5-6 years ago. I know my secret question and answer but there is no way hotmail asking me that verification. there is only 1 option of reseting the password by sending it to my hotmail email. Please any solution for it?

    thanks,
    gracie

I have bad news for you. This looks to me like your e-mail and msn got hacked. This happens very often. I would suggest that you first try to get you e-mail account back.

It wasn't clear to me, but did you try to get your hotmail e-mail pass back? Because it makes no sense that this one would also be sent to your e-mail

Hotail and msn get hacked mostly because someone knows the backup question.
Here is a tip for the future: Don't answer the security question truthfully.
Example: What is your pets name: Isee303

It's very unlikely that someone will guess that ;)
    Something to remember...

    Great tip In-f3st. That's what I've been doing ;)

It "might" be possible to get back your Hotmail if you can provide all accurate information that you set in your Hotmail account.

Sorry to hear that, dude. But yeah, you got 0wned. I used to do that for quite some time, 'cause I'd always answer the secret question. It's really easy, heh.

Hope you somehow managed to restore your password by using the alternative e-mail address to send the password reset confirmation e-mail. Other than that, you're screwed. Have a nice day or year! ^^

Why don't you do what I did?
I used MSN password recovery from sysinfo tools. It quickly offered my lost password to me. I was very happy at that time when I got my very first MSN account back. You must use it and no need to reset your password, OK?
    Just download it from there.
    Say cheeeeeeese.....
