I'm looking for a new Media Player since Winamp has become very slow since i've added over 3000 songs to my library (can't figure out why).

I'm looking for some suggestions. Thanks.

Why don't you try using Winamp Classic skin? It's much faster ;)

Well, it's not just acting slow, it's freezing up sometimes. But thank you for the suggestion. It has made a difference so far.

You should try foobar2000, it's one of the best players next to Winamp. You can customize just about anything in foobar2000 and that's what makes it so damn brilliant. Just do a google search, I'm sure you'll like it. Cheers!

I certainly second the comments about Foobar 2000. It's amazing. It's certainly a rather plain and uninteresting GUI, but...what the heck...it does more things, and more efficiently than any other player I have found. I would rather forego the "pretty bells and whistles" and have the job done properly.
