monitor software help

i had my laptop formatted recently and now i cant play games because device name, chipset type etc (in dxdiag) is not listed

i remembered used i have this "monitor adaptor" software installed and that it was always visible on the traybar on the bottom right corner. i cant remember the name because i never paid much i attention to it, but i do remember that the icon was a "blue monitor screen" (if it helps)

im looking for this software, does any one know the name of it?

I believe your problem is that the drivers of its video controller card are not properly installed.

I suggest you to use som software like this [url=http://www.gtopala.com/siw-tools/siw-viewer.html]SIW
or Everest to find more informations about this card and then search for the right drivers
to install...

I believe that if you has the manuals and CDs of this laptop, it´s possible that you finds the information of the correct adapter and/or drivers...
