Computer wants to remove software that was already removed

I'm transferring from AVG anti-virus to Kaspersky Anti-virus. So I uninstalled first the AVG and deleted all its files from my computer and from the recycle bin. Then i restarted my computer to finalize the uninstallation.

Then i downloaded Kaspersky. but i can't install it since the installer program requested me to uninstall first the AVG from my computer because it's not compatible with Kaspersky.

The problem is that i've already uninstalled the AVG. Am i missing something? Because i've already checked and rechecked my computer (through the search option) for any AVG files or programs, but nothing would come up. And i've already set the hidden files so that i can see/view them.

Please help.
