Disable Firefox 3.1 (Ctrl+Tab) Tab Previews
I've just installed Firefox 3.1 Beta 1. I am glad that it loads and ends the process when I close it much faster than the current version. So far no crashes. If you're interested in trying it out, get it here.

One annoying feature that I didn't really like in Firefox 3.1 is the tab preview like what you see in Vista. It goes back and forth but I'd prefer to jump to the next tab instead.
Here is how to disable Firefox 3.1 tab preview when Ctrl+Tab is pressed.
1. Type about:config at the URL bar.
2. Click I'll be careful, I promise! button
3. Type browser.ctrlTab.mostRecentlyUsed at the filter.
4. Change the browser.ctrlTab.mostRecentlyUsed value to false. You can either right click, select Toggle or simple double click on the value to change it.

Just installed Firefox 3.1 Beta. 90% of extensions are not working.
Ctrl+Tab is a good idea but animation is not very smooth
I would rather like to disable it. Thx for the tip to disable the Ctrl+Tab

There's a trick to make non-compatible add-ons work in new versions.
This is only for testing.
- Enter about:config in the addressbar
- Void the warranty! (You’ll see what i mean)
- Look for extensions.checkCompatibility
- Set the value to false
- You may or may not have to restart Firefox
