    Problem extracting .zip file

I am currently downloading a big torrent file with Utorrent. There are 60 folders, all with .zip extension. As several of these folders have now completed downloading, I paused the torrent download and attempted to extract the contents of two of these completed folders. I got the message about "not recognized or damaged" with both of them. I know of several others who have successfully downloaded this torrent, so I'm sure it is not damaged. Could it be that, even though these two folders have completed downloading, they can not be extracted until the whole download has finished? I have tried with WinRAR and Jzip. I seem to remember reading of an app that can be installed...like Gspot...that will recognize and advise on the exact nature of the files and suggest what to use to extract. Does this ring a bell with anyone? As I still have over 8GB to go, I would rather abort now if it's not going to be successful. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks guys. Yes...I do know the files are "split" prior to upload, but I had imagined the contents of each folder was an "entity". Apparently not! I'll press on and when I have it all...about 2013 I reckon!!...I'll let you know! Thanks again.4

let me guess your downloading Dreamweaver CS4 because i'm downloading one where there are like 60 .zip files and everyone was mocking the guy who made the .torrent because he split the archives and made them .zip.

Prashanthpai...as I said in my original post, others have successfully downloaded and extracted the files: and brayden, no it's not, but apparently upped in a similar way.

must have just been coincidence that Dreamweaver one was similar. and you said you only finished like 2 archives so it would also be trying to extract from the others with no hope. if you got 60 .zip archives then it would have just been split archives, those try to extract the files from each other because they both hold a different part of the file(s) in each one but they show the same size for the file in there.
