Unable to Install DirectX

I have been unable to install the latest DirectX for my Windows XP installation. I really have no idea why. It always says it's initializing, but then it ends up saying it cannot connect to the internet and to try again later. I am fully accessible from the internet, which is weird. Is there any other method to install the november update for DirectX 9.0c?

Did you check out the article Raymond wrote on his blog on the 12th of October regarding DirectX. I cant copy n paste due to some hardware limitations. Hope diz helps.

Well, this regards the installer. It won't initialize the downloading of the .msi package.

have you tried reinstalling the installer or if you have a game that requiers directx you could use the game

I'm just talking about the dxwebsetup.exe file. It won't download the actual installer.

That is the web installer package only.

Ah, thanks, but I found that. I never knew there was one. Next time, I'll look for the redis. package.
