Microsoft 2007 + Office 2003 Config. Problem

Hey guys on my Sis's demand i installed both Office suites 2003 n 2007 [i m against it] but now the problem is that when i open Word 2003 it starts configuring n when i start Word 2007 it starts configuring itself, I have got pissed off now can anybody help me to make Word 2003 as default n stop the configuring of Word 2007....
I tried File Types as DOC to Word 2003 but in vain....
Can anybody tell me whether there is any registry i can modify to stop that thing from configuring...

uninstall whichever version that you don't need.

You shouldn't have 2 versions of Office installed as when one version configures itself as the default, the other one is also compelled to do so.
Uninstall the version which you don't need. That's the only way out.

Get rid of 2007 if your sister goes to school. Most schools have Office 2003 and they dont have the money to upgrade. Office 2003 is compatible with 2007 also
