Usb boot
I've been trying to make my usb drive bootable.... but nothing works.
The method Raymond suggested in his blog does not seem to work with my pen drive. Its a kingston data traveller 2gb.
Everytime i try Raymond's method, my drive is locked and shows that the drive is corrupted. I have to format it to use it again...
Does anyone else have a similar problem?

Which method?
Did you try using PLoP?

I don't think I can use the PLoP method until i can make my usb drive bootable.
And i was referring to this article of yours http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/...rive-bootable/
Basically when i try to use the command "MKBT -x image1.bin k:" (k is my usb drive) I get strange output and the disk size changes to 0 bytes. I can no longer use my pen drive till i format it.

I tried with Windows XP cd and then the Kaspersky Rescue disk (made with BartPE). But both time it failed.

I'm not certain but i think i tried in both FAT16 and FAT32.
I'll try again in FAT16...
It doesn't work with FAT 16 or FAT 32...
And it seems others too have the same problem. I was going through some of the comments posted on the article i referred above.
Is there any other software (other than makeboot) that can write the required file to the usb drive.
