    Quote {Vista Problem} Permission needed?

Ok, I just copy a whole disc to the second partition of my drive. But after copying it, I decided to delete it. Now here is my problem. All of a sudden, I cannot delete this file, the messege given by windows is "You need permission to perform this action" what the hell was that, I am running the PC as Administrator and yet I need permission to delete the file?

    Can anyone help?

Use a file shredder, or restart your computer then delete, or go into safe mode and delete it.

Download and run Unlocker from here and try deleting the file. This is immediate and temporary solution.

After this, to prevent any future nags, Disable the Vista User Account Control from the Control Panel and it'll be fine then.

May be you can access it without the need of any software or any thing. Let me think, I donot have vista now.
When you try to access the file, it says permission required, there are two options, then go to the 2nd right option, then... i fgt. tell me wht it shows then. Then ill tell you what to do.

I did it in a simple way, Restart my PC and run in safe mode. On the Folder I wanna delete, right click...... properties--->security (while in safe mode) and tick full control in advance option of the special permission box.......btw when in normal mode, even if I tick full control, i could not delete this folder....It seems it could only be done in safe mode.

    Thx every1.
