Did you try cleaning the registry?
and did you scan for viruses and stuff? Which Av do you have?
And why did you open a new thread when the older one is there?
http://forum.raymond.cc/network/9782-unable-to-open-pdf-files.html
you could just have said please help, i cannot solve this problem.

Did you try downloading again and could you let us know what executable file is that so we can download and test it on our side?

You seem angry. Sorry if i did something over my limits. But I meant to just give a suggestion, and not any moderation. If i had done so, raymond should have commented on this but he didnt comment anything.

@HR: I don't think rolliet needs to explain why he opened a new thread as it was the right thing to do. His question in the other thread was about opening .pdf files.
If Raymond, Solaris or I thought this should have been posted in the previous thread we would have merged it with that thread and furthermore, if we thought rolliet needed to explain his actions we would have asked for it.
I have said this to you and others in private before but it seems as if you have chosen to ignore my advice. Please assist other members in solving their computer problems and refrain from bugging them with all sorts of questions and/or remarks which is completely unrelated to their problem.

What do you think? Im such a guy that ill do the same thing even after i say sorry and i say that i would not do that again?
Listen, I've already been a victim of misunderstanding already before. I donot what this to happen again. So, please look what i wrote there.
Nither did i say him anything bad to him like the other's who still do,
neither did i go offtopic,
neither did i use any abbrevations like u said b4,
neither did i disrespect him,
Then what is theproblem??
you had said,
"Does it really matter if a noob bumps a thread and if it does to you, would it hurt to politely request the person not to do it again? Also do we all need to comment on those type of posts or would it be sufficiant for one member to post a comment?"
so that's what i did, I just said him polietly to just bring back the older thread.
And there was a solution for that guy's problem in my first post. Please look!
And if you'd look carefully, the older thread included applications also. read his later posts.

To heart reaper,i have avg 7.5 which scans viruses etc.I hadn't clean the registry apart from the lower filter for Logitech webcam which was suggested through this forum to get it up and running properly. To you,Odie and Raymond i'm sorry for the misunderstanding between the download and the pdf file issue, wasn't my intension. So far todate the advice given has been very helpful and appreciated.Raymond the last download i tried was the regcure setup which was saved supposedly to my download folder and didn't get there.Hope that helps.Rolliet.

As for my recommendation, Use ASC:
http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2008/12/08/free-iobit-advanced-systemcare-pro-v3-license-key-codes-exclusive-for-raymondcc-readers/
You can download on some other computer, and then install ASC on your computer. then see if it can solve your problem.
