Norton vs Kaspersky

Which is your favorite(not best) IS/AV ? Norton or Kaspersky ?

I had both KIS and NIS licenses from Raymond. But, I gave them to my bro and cousin who needed it more. So I don't really know. But, what I know is maybe you could do better with a poll feature?

KIS all the way. It is much easier to crack

Two of them had their own specialties , but I prefer to choose Kaspersky instead of Norton.

Why don't you try BitDefender Total Security ?

I will say Kaspersky because I once downloaded one program, it was infected with a some backdoor trojan and Kaspersky straightaway does the job for me. Very efficient. About Norton I have never used it but I don't think it is better than Kaspersky. Besides, the scan for Kaspersky is so fast. Less than 1 hour and full scan is done. Kaspersky is also easily available in my country compare to Norton. I see Norton is very hard to upgrade if you have a older product unlike Kaspersky.

I havent test Kaspersky but my Norton Internet Security takes 1min for a quick scan and 30mins for a full scan..

Because of Norton Insight technology though I'm a die hard fan and a contributor of kaspersky - I also love Norton due to its resource efficiency and solid customer based support ~

But in terms of proactive protection and defensive measures I go for kaspersky ~ though lacks of resource efficiency management by Norton and has a slower scanning speed it does it job in protecting my box - but it's not a solid cyber kevlar without the user care

Hmm it's not good to compare them both - you need more technical analysis rather than pure opinion based argument or else this comparison will be useless and ad infinitum
