unsure of MBAM entries
First i hope i did not double post this. I hit the backspace while trying to post and cleared the screen. So Sorry if i did
i just scanned with KIS009 and SuperAntiSpyware PRo but ran an MBAM scan as backup, due to this machine doing wierd stuff AGAIN Here is a shot of the scan results

The 3 that really concern me are the the 2 ErrorFix and the registry one
I "think"???. this must be part of a leftover program. The folder is empty. And in a search only the empty folder is found with a date of 03/04/09 April 03 09 ( i hate the day/date reversal thing) .But it has a task attached to it. I do not remember installing this program. I did install a Soft from MS from thier FixIt center. Could this be it
What is making me hesitate is that it is running a task. Which will bring me another post I have a few task scheduled that i have no idea what or why they are running.. i'll put them in another post so not to confuse issues
Okay the first entry is a bad reg key for note pad. Here is that entry. I exported to a txt file and uploaded with "Shup"
http://shup.com/Shup/152139/notepad-re-entry.txt
Sorry i thought one could just click on it and it would open
The "rogue installer" is for foxItreader. that i have not yet installed and not sure i should now
Would appreciate some input on this. Since i am trying to set a totally clean "Restore point" Hence all the scanning. THANKS

I'd delete the task if it points to nothing. I figure it's better to be safe then sorry. As for the others, I couldn't comment.

The Broken.OpenCommand is just a default setting that has been changed somewhere along the way. MBAM is just putting it back to the default setting.
They will want to know about the false positive so they can fix the database so please report the "rogue installer"/foxItreader to the team at Malwarebytes in the False Positives forum. Read this topic first so you can post a dev log. Read before reporting a false positive!
They may also request that you zip up the foxit installer and send it to them.

@ hellnoire the other tasks will follow but something it up. I left mbam open over night until i got a reply to this thread. After i came out of sleep mode i got a low memory message. When i checked Task manager. i had 1.62 gigs available in the graph. About 32m available and 20,000 cached . Under the "Physical memory" The hard drive was going nuts so something was running. now i left MBAm open and that was it.
The PC forced a restart, i opened Task manager and i had about 1g free in the physical mem window with 2g cached. Then it started dropping FAST. As i type this i have 272m available,1086m cached and the memory Graphic shows 1.06 available
Now vista puts RAM in cache for programs most used to have available. Really the vista Task manager sucks. Under the "Physical Memory" window it lists: total-3069m cached 2085m Free267
However in the graphic window under memory it shows 1.06 available with physical memory usage being 35%. I have the task scheduler popping up. There are a few task running, that i am going to post in a different thread to avoid confusion
@ Evil fantasy, i D/L foxit Reader from a portables blog site. It may have been a Rapidshare D/L so the installer may be infected. It has been awhile since i D/l it. i forgot about it with all the other stuff
I'll have to rerun MBAM Vista forced a restart. to send the logs. I tried to highlight the entry and send to MBAM but i got an error message that it could not connect. Dunno if its an MBAm glitch, vista thing or a IE8 deal. i do know that MBAM 1.34 is not compatible with Vista for real time protection. but i can try to send manually.
Sorry for the lack of caps when needed but the shift key is hard to hit with numb fingers lol
edit: Thanks guys and thankk you skism

You need to update. The current version is 1.36 so you are two versions out of date. The newer versions are fully working with Vista, only not the 64bit version yet. Currently there is beta testing for the 64bit/Windows 7 version. As expected there are a few bugs that have to be worked out but it is coming along.
Is this the free version or is it a rapidshare crack?

It will be impossible to scan using all the ANTI softwares. It can be false positive. I suggest that you upload these files to online scanner.

I've been using the free version of MWAM on my Vista Home Premium 64bit for several months without any problems.

The protection module in the paid version does not work yet with 64bit versions.

You have to keep those free versions updated manually and often.MB can show as many as twelve or fourteen(definition updates) a day.The latest version,1.36 came out about a month ago if I remember right.New versions(when available) are announced at definition update-so how do you miss that?
