updating antivirus and dial up connection

My grandmother has AVG Free and Windows XP. Unfortunatley for me, she also has a dial up connection, so every time I want to download another program for her computer it takes forever. I was wondering is there any way to download the updated definations on another computer and then transfer to her computer. Lately, I've found that I just can't update her AVG because the connection is so slow. I was online once for 6 hours and it couldn't finish updating it

    I'd appreciate all help.

You can get the manual update for AVG from the link. It is about half way down.

I've written an article about antivirus offline updates before.
