Trojan.Pidief.G attacks Adobe products
Symantec and Kaspersky are both reporting a Trojan that exploits Adobe Flash, Reader, and Acrobat. This exploit is contained in an infected PDF document, which upon opening, will drop and execute its load. At present, the detected infected PDFs have been Chinese language. At first, Adobe downplayed the exploit, but has since offered a work-around:
Delete, rename, or remove access to authplay.dll

Here's a quote from another site:
Adobe’s security response team knew about the vulnerability since December 31, 2008
Huh? Adobe is a BIG time player. Took them 7+ months to come around with a "work-around" = delete this file from OUR program".

Of course. And then people wonder why I've long recommended alternatives or hacked versions that don't have vulnerabilities.
