The same report occurs always in my computer. I am using windows and while analysing ports by comodo I found no programme using port 1050. I hope the port is made permanently open by some malicious software during some installation but I am not able to find out the same. I also instructed comodo firewall to stealth all my ports but of no use. Is the stealth setting made by router?

Is the use by a TCP, or UDP protocol? There is a big difference. it could be an internal usage.

I use Comodo Firewall, and it's stealthed, and I've only done a default install. Sounds like you might be infected.

Life is all about ass; you're either covering it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, trying to get a piece of it, or behaving like one.

I used homenetmagic Port mapper as advised by raymond in http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2007/07/02/port-forwarding-made-easy-with-portmapper/ to find out that smart defrag 1.20 from http://www.iobit.com/ ( the house of advance system care ) is using my port 1050. will uninsttalling the same solve my problem????????????????????
