    virus Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.ih

    My sister computer just got infected with this, virus Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.ih

    How do I remove this?

    My sis computer run KIS 2010.

    But she went and disable thing and bam computer got infected. I am not sure KIS 2010 can remove it or not. Help please...

    I am scanning now with KIS 2010 in safe mode and I don't think KIS 2010 is able to remove it...

    I had A Kido infection, even my KIS 2009, disinfected it.

    KIS 2010 clean it. But I haven't check to see whether it can access antivirus sites.

    EDIT : KIS 2010 did clean it fully. My sis is able to access microsoft and other av sites.

    The first thing I did after realisng that my sis cannot access Microsoft site and Kaspersky, I suspected a Conficker and tested her laptop using that eyechart and my suspicion was right.

    Yeah thats a conficker all right..but you shouldnt be infected in the first place if you had Automatic Updates turned on. Microsoft releases an update every now and then for latest breeds of conficker.
