eScan, MSE and Norton topped the rankings for Malware Removal test.

Nice MSE is improving a lot.

That's an interest test. Combined with detection rates tests give us the whole picture.

Looks like eScan & MSE performs better than Kaspersky in this test...

Yes, but we can see that not any antivirus can clean or remove malware completely from our system, some trace were left behind.
although eScan gets the top ranking, but you can see that eScan failed to remove the malware also..

True, that's why sometimes manual malware entries removal is necessary, esp. on rootkit type of infection which makes it more harder for any AV to detect and totally disinfect it.

    Spin

The Tested Sample was too small to get valid conclusions.

However, Real-Time Protection (i.e. On-Access Detection) is what counts more!
The issue is to have an AV that Stops Malware, before it gets inside a PC!

Once a PC is infected (i.e. Compromised) and its AV protection is bypassed,
you need other Tools (more effective than the AV itself) to Remove Malware.

Look which other features Kaspersky has that MSE and eScan do not have.
