Trojan.Clicker.CM is False Positive or Virus?

Hi Ray! Plz. solve my confusion. Trojan.Clicker.CM is a VIRUS or NOT? When I used Kaspersky IS 2010. KIS2010 did't detect it as a Virus. Now-a-days I am using Bitdefender IS 2010. BIS2010 detect it as VIRUS. Now Plz. tell me Trojan.Clicker.CM is False Positive or Virus?

I dont think its a false positive...
Trojan.clicker.CM is a trojan which displays pop-up ads even though you have disabled pop-up's...

It's confusing isn't it when one antivirus says that the file is a threat and the other say it's safe.
What do you do when that happens? Which antivirus do you believe?

Locate the file and check it, observe and if your not sure copy the detected sample if smaller than 5mb upload to VirusTotal or in Threatexpert. If less than 20mb then to Virscan.

Any screenshot of the file so we can see it. Check the file extension (.exe /doc./.cab ) too and be sure it is not crack tool ( keygen,patcher,trial-reseter...).

Hi , When I visit website and click link "Click Here to downlod" then next page open and BitdefenderIS2010 display popup - "Bitdefender has blocked a virus. Virus Name: Trojan.Clicker.CM". I have used KasperskyIS2010 for some months. But KIS did't display any message when I visited this website. BIS is right or KIS is right not display virus message. Trojan.Clicker.CM" is a Virus or not. Who is better Bitdefender or Kaspersky?

Avira doesn't detect anything on that site...that's all I can say for now.

So it is the adware pop-up.

I'm running firefox with AdBlock Plus add-on...I see no pop-ups of that sort on that site.
