Virus or keyboard/mouse problem ...
Hi all ...
I am facing a problem from last 2-3 days
Just after ten to 15 minutes of starting windows , whenever I do a right click , an irritating continous sound is heard from the speakers. Suddently the cursor will start running continosly as follows
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
whenever the cursor was previously in a typable part like office, notepad , rename folders or address bars of browsers or website login ...etc.
It will only stop ( sound also ) when i press any key from keyboard .
If the cursor was in a non typable part like just above ' My computer ' , a rectangle of --- will appear on My computer or any particular file and sound also will be heard.
If a movie was being played at that time ,
* in media player classic the audio delay will start increasing
* in gom , the screen will suddently become very small
* in power dvd , volume will decrease automaticaly ..etc.
Is this problem caused by virus ..?
or any hardware problem ..
Scanning with KAV 2010 did not detect any virus .
plz help me asap ..
keyboard is Hp multimedia ps/2.and mouse ps/2 compatible.

hmm, so maybe you should try changing them.
Since when did this problem start?
like:
you shifted, installed any program, changed your PC etc..
or just suddenly. You should have mentioned it in main post. it helps us to solve.

Then it could probably be an hardware error.
you could try a new key board or mouse.
Or you can try this:
disconnect your mouse from its port, press Alt+shift+numlock keys once. and using ur keyboard, click ok.
u can control ur mouse by using the number pad :
5 for click, 12346789 for moving the cursor.
If the problem persits, then we might recommend you something else.

using the above infomation, you could also uninstall and reinstall drivers for
both keyboard + mouse.
