Even though I'm against the order in that list, I readily agree that it consists all the best 11 antivirus softwares.

Here's a better comparison review in that list
    http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/product/compare?p=324718&p=324720&p=324716&p=324713&p=324719&p=324715&p=324712&p=324721&p=324714&p=324717&p=324711

They have taken primarily UI comparison into account.

To me, the GUI is the last thing I look at in an antivirus suite. Looking nice is all fine and good but if it detects nothing, it's useless.

NOD32 and Avira have been my choices for a long time because of this. They aren't the most pretty, but they get the job done.

Bottom Line: Avira AntiVir Premium Edition needs more features and a face-lift before it can become a top choice.
I'm a fan of Avira (for it's superb protection)...and yet I agree with this 'line'...personally, I find Avira's GUI not user-friendly for newbies or simple home users...I can say that because I have seen my 'non-techie' friends choosing AVG over Avira simply due to this reason.

Avira does need a face-lift to appeal to new users...as they say, first impression counts...

In my opinion : Avira "GUI" is simply cool.

    Oh! but malwares hated it.
