Now if you still have the said worm sample please submit it to Threatexpert for further malware analysis and post the result here.
*Reformat your infected usb pendrive, and if Kaspersky usb automatic scan is bugging you.
Go to Kaspersky client
Settings ->
Scan My Computer ->
Scan Removable Drives on Connection -> check
Do not scan ( Ask user :
Default ).
thanks

Perhaps...
But from what I see, most people that ever have problem with Kaspersky is those who have installed other AV(s)/IS(s) before Kaspersky.
I think, the best way to install Kaspersky is to install on a fresh computer (freshly formated). That is what I do. I make a backup of my clean computer using Macrium reflect. So whenever Kaspersky roll out new version, I will restore my C image and install the new version.
The only exception is my laptop. The only AV that been in my laptop was Mcafee. That also, I make sure I run the removal tool after uninstalling. Only after that, I install in KIS 2010.
Kaspersky have kept me and my family safe, so I am not complainning. I admit, I did run into minor hiccups with Kaspersky, but those hiccups are soon fixed except for one.

Kaspersky saferun (sandbox) feature.
Whenever try to load Windows Live Messeger in saferun, it can't sign in. Both on XP and Vista. Don't look like my fault as it isn't coincidence that WLM can't sign in when running in saferun under two OS.
I posted a post in their forum telling them of the bug, no one answwered me.
I contacted their support team via personal cabinet and they told me to post a GSI log. Having done that, I sent the log to them and told me maybe is Malwarebytes and Spywareblaster. Ya right.
I highly doubt it as before installing Malwarebytes and Spywareblaster, it still can't sign in when running in saferun. Not only me. But my friend who runs windows 7 experience the same problem.
They should consider hiring Ronen Tzur.
Google to find out who is he.

OK then...fair enough. But if Kaspersky were to hire Ronen Tzur (Sandboxie developer
), I'm not too sure if Sandboxie would still be available as an individual app...and it might no longer be offered as 'free'.

i have the same issue now

Another one who faces the same issue....I will avoid doing that on my PC then...anyway why would you guys want to run WLM in a sandbox?

Malware attack vector : Malware -> Internet -> IM (WLM) -> PC.
My IM clients were also force sandboxed (not by KIS ) by Sbie. DefenseWall HIPS users were also protected since IM clients are set to untrusted by default.
