    Online Scans are slow but some people don't have real AV programs so oh well.

    Don't shoot them all down... TrendMicro's Housecall has saved both my parents and my customer's PCs. It's actually a god send to recommend because it's actually extremely useful, even if slow.

    I've tried using 2 online scanners before but since the scans were too slow, I had to ditch the idea...

    That aside, I recommend anyone here who wants to use an online scanner to make sure that the service is able to both scan and remove any found threats/infection...otherwise, it might just be a waste of your bandwidth and time...
