    Bug bifdefender is doing nice

yes this is right.BIS2010 IS doing a superb job in detection wise.
i have two os (xp2) in os-1 i have kis2010 and in os2there is bis 2010. os1 was getting slow as it was eating so much ram by some processes which i could not able to figure out. then after kis2010 i installed nis2010 but without any result. but then with the second os(os2 which i installed in e drive) scan my c:\ drive and i caught few virus trojan(they were mainly crack which i installed as nis and kis both showed that they were harmless). after that it was like new and running smoothly. to me it is certainly very much surprising.

Hi, I think the default scan settings in NIS 2010 excludes system volume information from scans and it should be removed from exclusion settings of NIS. Good to know that Bitdefender worked for you.

no there was no so called exclusion in either nis or kis. i must tell u one thing that kis has around 3400000+- signatures but bis2010 has around 5600000+-signatures. norton or kis could not able to detect while bis 2010 do the job and it works

But.. bitdefender has got lots of FP's....

May be in those 5600000+-signatures there may be lots of signs which may lead to FP's and this may not be the case with KIS or NIS..I am not a fan of either of them ..but I do feel that AV's and Anti Spywares are fast becoming personal choice... these days.
