Cloud technology regarding antivirus/security programs does not really have a strict definition as of yet. Different companies have different methods of scanning unknown files by uploading some or all of the file to a online server somewhere. But I think in the big picture of things it may be simpler to ask which security programs do not have cloud technology yet. I think of, say the top 10-15 antivirus companies, maybe only a couple do not implement cloud technology in some fashion. I do not believe Avira has cloud tech and maybe not Avast either. Of the top brands thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

FWIW- SafeOnline has a freebie promo for facebook users. It is a non-ending license, according to Prevx help and same as the paid SafeOnline program-

    Avira doesn't have one yet.

    But avast have.

    avast! Community IQ

Most samples we process come from sensors deployed throughout the avast! community in the Behavior shield and anti-rootkit modules. This is a unique source of data made possible only thanks to our huge user base. Most of the collected samples are analysed by a number of automated processes and only a small fraction of the samples need to be processed manually by our virus analysts.

    Behavior Shield

Monitors activity on your computer using a number of sensors (file system, registry and network based) and reports/blocks any suspicious behavior.
    Behavioral Honeypots

avast! sensors identify and monitor suspicious file activity on selected computers, automatically submitting files to the Virus Lab for additional analysis.
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous
