    Problem with Net-Worm.Win32.Kido

    hey all
when i use my library computer, some times i get my flash disk infected with autorun xxxx.vmx.
i upload it to virus total and found that is a Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.ih(Kaspersky), W32.Downadup(Symantec)
    virus total link

it seems that the computer doesn't patch with Microsoft Security Bulletin MS08-067.

because some times urgent need, i browse through the comp and login to specific site,
what is the risk while we use the comp ??

through google found many tools to remove the virus, but all of them require a restart, is there a tool that no need to restart the computer ?

Um... I would say no, because to delete a worm, you have to patch a hole, then reboot to apply it.

Dude, reboot is not a problem. For a very special reason, it is an disinfection SOP. If not your system will be left useless.

vir, it's Conficker you're infected with.

Save the files you've got, run the recovery tools, reboot. It should be cleared off.

Considering it was the biggest fear out there and we know how to solve it, there's no reason to throw it out unless you're that scared to death of a single reboot.
