    Big Grin Webroot debuts vulnerability scanning tool

    Recently Webroot launched a new vulnerability scanning tool which is going to be a part of its existing Web Security Service.

    This would help take advantage of the most up-to-date vulnerability information and spyware definitions

    Good move by Webroot. Already adopted by many, Kaspersky, Panda etc. I think Avira and Avast should think about it.

    Adding that is going to slow everything...as it will be on top of real-time scan.

    The vulnerability scan is going to be realtime!That will definitely slow down things.But they said the scan will be invisible to the user.Are they not going to provide any way for the users to know about the report of their vulnerabilities?I think they should.If I would be an user I would want to know about it.

    I deleted fast.

    Why should it be on realtime. Kaspersky, panda have it on-demand. there is no way making it real-time and making it's results invisible....
