KIS 2011 License corruption problem.

After the official release of KIS 2011 I installed 11.0.232 version on my laptop and everything was working perfectly fine till yesterday. Yesterday KIS suddenly went into RED and it says activation key got corrupted (don't remember exact wording) and its unable to download virus definitions. I tried to re-activate using same license but couldn't succeed.

After clean uninstall & re-install its able accept same key but it says "0" days left and it started cribbing that you haven't activated yet and its giving me options for beta trial etc etc... I tried with one more legitimate key and ended up with same problem.

Finally I reverted back to KIS 2010 and keys are working fine. Still unable to pin point what went wrong with KIS 2011. I tried to post this problem on Kaspersky official support site through my registered ID but i couldn't find KIS 2011 product in their drop down product list.

Does anyone experienced similar problem? Any clues?

raju, i'm using KIS2011 - from the same key of KIS2010. No such problem faced.

Can u try installing KIS2011 & use the same key on another PC?

Even I don't have issues almost a month after installation. Am still wondering why it suddenly cropped up. Unfortunately I don't have spare PC at home to try this. If key is problem then it shouldn't work with KIS 2010. Currently 11.0.1.384 dev build is available. May be i can give try with this version or wait for next official release of 11.0.1.xxxx to test whether my problem still appears on my laptop or not.

This happened always in K 2009, and after restart PC & it would be OK by then.

i suggest you try again inquiring at karspersky about this matter explaining the details of the problem and wait for their reply. KIS 2011 is still new.. problems might be encountered along the way.

They released a new build/fix 2/3 days back. Did u try installing that?
