    I don't mind the malware if they gave me one machine for free I've heard good user reviews about Dell before (both online and offline) and I'd wish I could get my hands on one just to see it for myself...

    And oh yeah, I know it's off-topic..

    Thanks for the links and the read Ceyfer...there are three dell pc's here and one laptop and although this is off topic, i have have had good experiences with them to date, in some ways they are restricted but they do make good machines and six yrs for a dell 4550 in everyday use and still performing ok im happy with that...

    I totally agree. I helped two of my sisters purchase Dell Dimension PC's, one in 2001 and the other in 2002 and both of them are still running fine.
    There may be a bit of snow on the roof, but there is still a fire blazing in the hearth!

    And I must be the odd one out, or they treat Canadians like dirt... because all the Dell machine I know of have broken and been unfixable or their service has taken too long to repair, in the ranges of three months to replace a single hard drive...
