Free Anti Spyware
My A-squared Malware have expired and i'm looking for the best antispyware. I've read a lot of them like Super antispyware Free,Malwarebytes Free,Spyware Terminator,Spyware Blaster,Spyware Doctor,Spybot S&D,Spyware remover and so on, i want to know which is the best spyware nowadays, want to hear from you guys.

For me you can't beat malwarebytes for free antispyware, it's detection rate is superb and the scan is pretty fast too. There isn't any real time monitoring on the free version but tbh i don't really think it's necessary and i'd still choose mbam over the paid versions.
Super antispyware would be my second choice.

Spyware blaster is for preventation. Never seen it in action. Malwarebytes is a free and good program with excellent detection.
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

If you are looking for an on demand I think a-squared anti malware will continue to work as an on demand scanner after trial expiration.

Hi putingcow
your antivirus of choice should already have a built in antispyware which should self register in Windows Security Center/Windows Action Center.
EMSISOFT antimalware is both and antivirus and an antispyware (it also includes a behavior blocker)
If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7 you already have Windows Defender (which is an antispyware) running in background.
MalwareBytes' Antimalware free is excellent as an additional security software even if it doesn't offer for real time protection (you may buy a very cheap life-time license for that)

IMO Super Antispyware's scanning Speed & Detection rate is good as Compared to Malwarebytes...
One reason i skipped Malwarebytes is bcoz of Slow Scanning Speed....
Both MBAM And SAS r good Antispyware...but wat MBAM detects SAS Cannot detect and Vice versa...

Like all said go for MBAM or SAS but none of them offers real-time protection in the free version. Like leo said now-a-days all AV has antispyware module but if you are desperate in having real-time antispyware protection you can get spyware terminator for free; average detection with good HIPS..
Inbuilt windows defender is also not that bad except that you can't get the latest build by updating through the GUI. Among paid products MBAM and Sysweeper provides strong real-time protection but Spysweeper may have some stability issues in some system. I have never tried Spyware Doctor that much and so can't comment on it. Real-time protection of SAS is average IMO as the detection is on-execution only with no IP-blocking. There are some other products like Ad-Aware, Spybot which lacks detection quality now-a-days and have resource issues also. There is also a less reputed product called Advanced system protector whose on-demand scanner is free.
May be off-topic but here is a promo offer for spysweeper.

I will choose Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free > Super Antispyware Free > Spyware Terminator > Spyware Blaster > Spybot S&D > Spyware Doctor > Spyware remover. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is very good at detections as well as cure. It is a good supplement in both ways, e.g., real-time protection (Pro version only) and occasional on-demand scan.
