Ain't know of the Firefox add-on...but as expected, it isn't compatible with Firefox V4.0 Beta 3

Virus Total firefox plugin
Virus total has released a firefox plugin that allows you to download files directly with VirusTotal's web application prior to storing them in your PC. Furthermore, URLs can be scanned with VTzilla
