Is this a file a virus? Please help me remove it!!

There is a folder in my D:/ drive which simply wont be deleted
the Folder's name is "Need For Speed Pro Street"
and it contains a file called "Nfs.exe"(16 MB size)

I had installed NFS Pro Street couple of weeks back and uninstalled it 3-4 days ago
    but this folder remained
no matter how i tried to remove the file, it wont go
    it shows this message

and when i logged in using my Administrator account and tried to delete it, it shows
"You need permission from system to Perform this action"

    now what do i do?

I even tried to quarantine the file using Avira Premium Security Suite
    but it shows this

so i tried to download Blitzblank from Emsisoft giving it a try to remove it
but Avira Webguard blocks the Emsisoft Blitzblank download!!

I have scanned the whole machine using
    1) Avira Premium Security Suite using highest detection settings ,
    2) Emsisoft AntiMalware Free,
    3) Super Anti-Spyware Free,
    4) Malwarebytes Anti Malware Free
    5) Hitman Pro 30 days activated
they all report my system to be completely clean

Run chkdsk to eliminate possibility of corrupt file.

Due to huge available free size, it is taking long time but do not worry, it should solve your problem (if file system errors exists).

I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

    @ Funkysourav
you have to remove the read-only attribute from the file Nfs.exe and the folder Need For Speed Pro Street.
Locate the folder, right click it go to "propeties">"general" tab and uncheck read-only

Also make sure Nfs.exe is not in use by the system.
Open Winpatrol, go to "active tasks" tab and KILL Nfs.exe.

Now you should be able to delete that folder, unless D:\ is your CD\DVD drive

    Please make me know
    Roger and out

    @leo
yes it does have read only attribute
    but it can't be removed

nfs.exe isn't in active tasks in winpatrol
d drive is 419gb hdd partition
