How can I use the key Norton 360 on VM and True Computer?

When I check to buy key Norton 360 on VM, it is OK. So, when I insert it to the computer it is unavaiable to actived. Also on VM it still OK when I check again.

How can I recover it to use for true computer?

Anybody help me! Thank and forgive me about stupid actions.

You can contact customer support using live chat available in symantec website. Choose your region in the main page before opting for live chat. Also you can post your query here.

what error are u getting exactly

i presume that it is thinking as installation one more than 1 PC
only customer support can fix it by decrementing the counter of installation in server

Norton register with hardware and OS and count active number, if I want to run it on same computer and Virtual machine, I must setup 1 style OS (WindowsXP or Windows 7 on both) on Virtual machine and true computer. Other cases, it will not work.

I lost the key which I bought because it can work on VM only!

I think in described scenario, P2V image will be best option. As everything will be same (OS, programs, configurations, may be SID too depending on software used), Norton solution should work fine.
    Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate x86 + KIS 2011 (11.0.2.556 b.a.c.d) + Sandboxie Paid (3.54) + Deep Freeze Standard (7.20.020.3398)
