which type of infection is this??
hii Guys...
Recently i have transferred Some movies from my friend's hard disk to my laptop..
i scanned with Avast Internet security 5.06.
nothing was found at that time..
now In the ' D ' drive (drive in which data were transferred) a Folder named " AUTORUN.INF " all letters in upper case ..

has come along with a folder named " Zhengbo.."
delete options yields following info:

i have tried windows default " Delete " option...
" Autorun eater " ..
" Unlocker "
nothing has improved..
can anyone please suggest how to remove these migrants??
Is it autorun infection or what??

@princeaniket: Real sad news.
1. Check your HDD for error (chkdsk d: /f /r /x)
2. Check your system for rootkits.
3. Run a scan of your HDD via antivirus BootCD (Kaspersky, Avira, etc.)
Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate x86 + KIS 2011 (11.0.2.556 b.a.c.d) + Sandboxie Paid (3.54) + Deep Freeze Standard (7.20.020.3398)

It is not an infection. Autorun.inf folder is created by a software known as "USB Disk Security" which contains a file named Zhengbo. It is not actually a virus but it is just a read only folder created by this software to save your computer from viruses which uses Autorun.inf to inject themselves into your harddisk. You can not remove Autorun.inf and Zhengbo using any anti-virus because these files are not actually viruses
The only way to remove these files from your hard-disk is by again installing USB Disk Security and configure it to enable autorun on disk drives.
If nothing else works, open command prompt and type 'del C:\Windows'

Do not use USB Disk Security. It's a useless paid-ware. Sometimes it locked the USB have to reformat.
