Hi everyone,
I am wondering if I should add RKill to the removal process (step 2). It seems like it would be very useful. What's your opinion?

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"
RogueKiller [http://www.sur-la-toile.com/RogueKiller/RogueKiller.exe]
is my favorite.
As far as
RKill [http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/rkill.exe]
RKill kills processes, imports a Registry file that removes incorrect file associations, and fixes policies that stop using certain tools.
RKill does Not Delete any files! After running RKill,
do Not Reboot your computer!
Then, scan immediately with Anti-Malware to remove Infections.
If there is a problem after running RKill,
reboot your computer and you will be back to where you were
before running the RKill.
Update:
- Revised safe mode instructions
- Added RKill (Important notes)
- Added comment box (Conclusion)
- Added new links
