The concept is good but the brand name was not.

Due to the significance and efficacy of browser security plugins, I'm not surprised that Bitdefender has followed too. This thing has been long pioneered by McAfee and WoT for a long time and now like apps are sprouting like mushrooms.

EDIT: I am currently using it as chrome extension. It works great. I cannot feel any browsing speed differences and want to see its actual efficiency against infected sites.

Very nice Indranil. Don't know how good it will be but it seems it relies more on realtime scanning like AVG link scanner rather than blacklisting. Another interesting feature is that it has a quite button to shorten the webpage by saf.li . Also this extension shows ratings in search results... Nice one indeed. I am using the Chrome extension now.

Chrome extension is working flawlessly, but the web-installer was not functioning well yet at least on my box.
