Facebook's popularity has grown to Global proportions, so it is not too surprising the scammers and spammers are hitting the social site hard.
The latest scam involves a fake video clip with various versions of the same title, which claims to be video of a girl being caught by her Dad while stripping in front of her webcam.
In reality, there is no such video and if/when one clicks on a link to "download" said video, all one will get is a nasty virus...DO NOT attempt to download the video file!!
When you click the link provided in the scam message, it will hijack your Facebook account. If you do come across this scam message, delete it from your Facebook news feed immediately.

Thank you for the news Jim, it's not one that would be of interest but it could have easily been a football video in which i could be prone too although i stick to the official site... all warnings are welcome

I haven't come across any of these latest scams on FB, but get lots of warnings about them from my friends, all of which are members of this forum.

I don't use facebook myself i do have a blag account used for software offers, but the outcome of this will be funny not many teenage lads will be able to resist this.

Do you want the link for the 2011 season Ted Everton vs Liverpool... boys will be boys, i remember my oldest son trying to download a Britney Spears picture thankfully it was dial up and stopped half way through..not what i was expecting to see the next morning, as it had a nasty surprise bundled with it...where it dials premium phone lines... little git...i only had the PC about a week...
