Thank you for sharing the news Idaho really appreciate the articles, i have used Bitdefender in the past but just didn't like the way it worked, lets hope they have it right this time as they can't afford to fall behind, even the free version for xp didn't fill me with hope.

i will wait for positive reviews before considering using it... even if it has a 30 % discount at the moment my money is on FunkY and Bearcat..

Thanks for the information idaho, I agree with JayCub I have used Bitdefender in the past and was not that impressed. Like the rest of you guys I am not going to buy a pig in a poke. I will have to see some reviews on how it handles all the maleware that is out there today or at least test a trial version on my virtual machine.
