Toshiba website hacked - email addresses and passwords exposed !!!
I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

Thank you Indranil for sharing the information, although im tired of the hackers and it's wrong to release personal details like they do.. but it does raise questions about security...

if i am not mistaken they use Norton or at list they promote nOrton as security provider. I have a Toshiba lap and hopefully they have not manage to damage anything serious . That is old story now. Nothing is secure enough to be safe.

"Fortunately, according to the firm, the personal information exposed did not include any credit card data."
How fortunate is that when "personal data" has been exposed?

They are always active, whether it is for personal pranks, political and criminal. In my opinion majority of hacking incidents were not even reported 'coz it will create more troubles for them ( bad PR )...you can't just lower your guard these days.
