    Quote "My Documents" folder in winxp with malware

    I downloaded a file from hxxp:/ link removed and now every time I open "My Documents" folder I see the screen splashed with the following message in red-"Portableturk.com All Portable Collections www.portableturk.com". How do I remove this

    Run a scan with Hitman Pro. If malware is found activate the trial license and clean your PC. Report back here.

    Interesting issue.

    That's simply an advertisement from that site. You might want to check the thinstall temp folder to delete it. Remember that majority of the files from the said site are thinstalled (rendered it portable.)

    Anyhow, please take note that unlicense/cracked portable sharewares are considered piracy-ware.
