    kaspersky, chrome & cookies

Im using the current CBE build of kaspersky, along with chrome. I'm having issues with tracking cookies. I use a cashback site for a lot of online shopping but since I installed kaspersky about 3 months ago im having trouble with the cookies tracking. what usually happens is that you click a "get cashback" link, which is supposed to open up the retailers website in a new tab/window along with the tracking URL but this isnt happening anymore. Ive checked the settings in my chrome browser and they seem fine. I also had the same issue with firefox 5. Could it be a setting in kaspersky thats causing this?

    thanks in advance

Disable the protection from Kaspersky and try again.
This will give you a confirmation if it is Kaspersky causing this.

thanks Raymond, it was indeed Kaspersky causing me the issue..

I've replaced it with a different AV combo and everything has been working fine
