P.S: The new AVG is pretty recent so this thread is only for those who have actually tested it out.

Please, do not start topics asking "Which is the better or faster or lighter or whatever?" or make comparison threads setting one Antivirus product against another (i.e. this vrs. that). Also, topics asking simply "What should I use?" and listing some or several products, is considered the same thing, just worded differently. Topics such as those require no thought, always produce the same arguments, and never resolve anything.

Start to ask what people that have tested AVG 2002 think of this antivirus, instead.

I am getting really fedup of such issues and let me make it clear to you all.

This is actually a personal behavior problem when a discussion turns into an argument.
There is no need to "argue" about such topic because every security application works differently on different setups. PERIOD.

For example, if for some reason your computer crashes after installing AVG, there is no need for you to say harsh words like AVG SUCKS. Think about this, if it fails so badly, why does it work on thousands of other computers but not yours? Who sucks now? An antivirus software that is being worked by a group of highly professional programmers OR an amateur user who simply knows how to reinstall Windows and a few security applications?

When it doesn't work, it only meant your system setup conflicts with it making it incompatible. Move on, try a different antivirus instead and report your experience in a polite way where we all can learn and benefit from it.
