ASK Toolbar is not really a malware (malicious software).
I would classify it as an unnecessary software.

Its not about the ask company but it about the other company who force this software to install in our machine with their software.....
They are the main culprit who spread devil message because devil itself cannot concur somebody soul or body

I worked on a computer last week that was eat up with toolbars. IE would not even load because the whole screen was nothing but toolbars and they didn't know how they even got there. There are a lot of computer users that will click on anything just because its there.
Linux Distro at the moment Fedora 17 / Firefox 12.0

Ask.com gives up on search business.

The most annoying toolbar now is the Babylon Toolbar.

Hey Guys - I just installed the latest version of SAS - no mention of the Ask Toolbar whatsoever. Checked after installation completed and no sign of the Toolbar on my machine???
It is often better to keep one's mouth shut and appear to be a fool than to open it and remove all doubt!
