Thread: Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 failed to detect virus.

    This is the actual problem.
    Maybe Microsoft Security Essential has already removed the virus from the USB? It could be possible that Bitdefender is configured not to scan the USB drive?

    I think once you access the drive, i.e., open the drive, technically, the virus should've been detected!

    new viruses now is undetected. We should not rely on our av's. Lots of my customers got malwares on there usb. And everyday I encountered different viruses.

    Your customers should disable AutoRun, and use antivirus software with proactive module.

    +1 i could not use ma internet at all....have to refresh 3-4 times to get every site open ....even google....so removed it and installed avira free and as luck would have it saw the thread on 6 month kaspersky offer ...so switched to Kaspersky and i no longer have to suffer ultra slow browsing...what a relief
