It was blound to happen I guess..many file sharing websites are shutting down willingly, but I guess it's a good choice if they don't want to risk what happened to MegaUpload even though there were some other charges besides copyright infringement there..
But I think this is only going to be a temporary thing..
Speaking of file sharing though, have you heard about this new thing coming from audials.com that's supposed to be a safe alternative to websites like Megaupload? I've been hearing a lot about it lately but they aren't offering too many details and I'm rather curious..
either way..cloud computing is still there I guess..and so far no one complained about it

mytechguide.org/11375/audials-anywhere-personal-media-cloud-rumor/ this is the audials anywhere soft i was talking about, a "personal media cloud" as they call it. to me, this thing seems like a good alternative to pirateby and torrents or megaupload. if i can share my files with other people and download some good stuff from them without fearing I am doing something wrong, I am a happy person. I think torrents are gonna be dead soon to be honest. with or without sopa, pipa, acta or whatever, they are not gonna risk that something similar to what happened to megaupload happens to them as well.
