just tried to sign in and on kaspersky av i got a popup sayin the messenger.exe file was a trojan.cryptor. Any ideas what this is and is it actually a trojan or is my av playin up ??

Messenger.exe should be clean and shouldn't be flagged as cryptor.

Maybe it's being injected by a trojan? BTW, cryptor is not really a virus. As far as I know, a lot of trojans use cryptor to compress the trojan to make the file smaller.

seems ok now just bugged me why it popped up like that :)
