USB Flash Drive Infection

My cousin today came to my house with his thumb drive he said he want'd to copy some of my music.. then i plug-in the thumb drive to my laptop, i scan for anti-virus(AVG) first b4 copyin anything in.. it detect'ds nothing in the thumb drive.. so i ask him if his computer has been infected by virus/spyware said i think so.. i was so scare.. suddenly after transfering music to his thumb drive i try exiting the driver.. pop-up ERROR appear saying "Suddenly life has new meaning" ?! i didnt knw whats happening.. its happens everytime i tried exiting any driver(etc. thumb drive).. so if b kind enough to help me thanks.. in-advance.. thk u..:rolleyes:
