    :) CHEERS !

AVG Antivirus is one of the most popular products on the market, especially thanks to the freeware license which allows people to use it as long as they want without paying for it.

Sure, there are some limitations, such as the lack of some functions, but since it's quite efficient and available for free, AVG quickly captured the public's attention. Tomorrow, AVG Technologies, the developer of the application, will release the 8.0 version of the application which will bring even more security features for free.

"With the release of AVG Free 8.0, we are underscoring our belief that all computer users, regardless of their computer usage needs, have the right to a safe and worry-free computing experience," says Karel Obluk, chief technology officer at AVG Technologies. "However, it is important for users to remember that AVG Free does not protect against the full range of today’s web-borne threats. For complete protection, users should consider AVG’s commercial products, which scan for and block threats before they can infect the computer or disrupt the user experience."

However, don't forget to get back soon in order to find the link for the 8.0 flavor scheduled for tomorrow.

I have been using the free version of avg 8.0 for more than a week now and have no complaints. I have used the free versions of avg for the last 4 years and up to date have had no problems with viruses. I would recommend this to anyone.
